As promised I would post about my college trip to The Nomads, here I am.
I didn't know what is The Nomads or where is it. I thought it was some bakery shop, or an F&B outlet or something like that. Turns out to be it is a service apartment which is located some where in Bangsar.
Yes, that place is astounding.

When the bus stops before the buildings, JY & I were saying, "wah, this house also so big ah?" actually we're here.

Aloha!

DH33 Hawaiian Night was so awesome. Mostly coz the girls were screaming out loud for the hottest lecturer alive, Mr Anthony. Ya he's handsome, young and all, even got his masters already. Every time he gets on stage, girls will scream and scream. Basically, Mr Anthony really stole our (the student guys) limelight. xD
I do not know why my camera went wrong, its like every picture I took its just so blur. Damn. The pictures I took cannot be seen clearly already. Luckily that one and only picture is clear! Thanks JY for being my cameraman. The food was awesome first of all. Its all prepared by DH30 (our seniors). The food are just too awesome. SERIOUSLY.
I felt awkward and weird wearing too many colors and flowers at first. But more and more people came in, I felt I'm part of the colorfulness of it. :D
Sad to say, EVERY pictures I have are so so blurry. Can't even see Ms Jasmine's face in the picture. So damn potong steam.
This is where we held our party. L'escoffier. *which is also our practical restaurant*.

Again, the seniors and lecturers organized this welcome party for the new batch of students (us), DH33. Sweet isn't it? xD You see the lecturers behind the scene. They are wild, loud and open. Sad that Mr Mayukh couldn't make it. Awwww. Mr YTB, fuhh, his like drunk that night. Dayumm.

These are some the opening pics we had in front of Santa Ines. Miss Jasmine is like the front beside Coleny. Due to my pitiful camera, the picture went awry.

Miss Jasmine is squatting in front of JY, the dude in green shirt. Should have been clearer. She's my F&B lecturer. She's very pretty ... and fierce. Okayy, moving on...

Here is Ben enjoying his drink. Eventually he won the best dressed award. Haha! He should win. He came in really Hawaiian feel. With the straw hat and sunglasses. No doubt he's the champ for the night.

Seriously, no one recognized Ben when he entered the campus. LOL. Good job Ben. xD

I told you the food was good. See, everyone is rushing to the buffet sets. Everyone dressed up to the most colorful they can find inside their closet, *I guess their closet is out of color already*. But everything was cool. Got to meet everyone from other groups! Lets parttttyy!

Hmm. Yummy yummy filled my tummy. :D The spaghetti was great, pizzas, spring rolls, and honey chicken wings. Fuhhh. Haha!

After some light refreshments, everyone was called to gather around the stage. Some performances from the seniors as well as the lecturers. Cool ae?

They were singing the Lilo & Stitch's song, Can't help falling in love with you. Haha! Everyone was kinda high that time. And some really cool Hawaiian songs. Though the song is originated from the King himself, Elvis Presley.

Some of them were too high, they couldn't help themselves but to dance with the emcees. LOL.
The best part is Ken-Ann went to the FRONT and took picture of Mr Anthony while he was talking. Everyone just got stunted and looked at her! What a brave soul. *Caution: Possible cat fight*

Haa.. What a night it was!

Then I took picture with my group mates, Di Wei and Ee Laine. Di Wei wanted to wrap her hands around my waist, coz she does that often when taking pictures, I wasn't feeling that comfy about it? I mean like the "geli" feeling. Haha! She said, oh okayy you cannot tahan is it? LOL. Malunyerrr.

Then today in bus, she asked again, Ian, you cannot tahan is it when girls touch you like that? I just like freaked out, and nod to whatever she's saying. Geeez. I like this picture alot eventhough its blur, thanks to JY only using a hand taking this pic! xD

Here's Ben and I. He look so.. horny? xD I don't know. I like his accent. That's one. And his clothing that night. xD

It's really been a funny and wild night!

This is the lecturer I was talking about.

Mr Anthony. He's only 24 and so damn mischievous and already has his Masters. Goshsome. Aihh. And the big sasquatch on his right is Mr Gopi. He's from Klang and a good friend to Mr Anthony. Btw, Anthony is my Front Office lecturer. Am attending his class l8r at 3. Final class. Guess the girls in my group will not be as lively anymore. xD

I only manage to take a picture with him. His kinda hurry to take a puff I guess?! hahaha!

I think I will want his msn. hahaha. Maybe chat and talk cock with him. Ya, even in class we talk like friends. HAHA. Not to mean to disrespect, I mean like after class or break time. Ya, we will COCK!

The best is saved for the last. People, she's Angeline. She's quiet and friendly. She should have won the best dress. *i think she's reading this* die la die la. Anyway, as I was saying, she's very nice. She's from Klang as well.

Tsk tsk. Bad photography Jun Yan. hahaha! But thanks anyway. We can be buddies! xD

After that I went home already. Around 930 plus. Just to be safe, coz its dark and I took the train alone. I didn't know Angeline & Sobarthi would be taking the train. Or else I could have wait a lil longer. Wouldn't make much difference. Sorry.
Oh, and I might attending French classes to improvise my French. Easier for me to cope for the coming French classes also. Hmmm.

The following day, we had trip to The Nomads, Bangsar. Post will be updated soon. Stay tuned. :D
Hawaiian Night pics coming up! Stay tuned... :D
* You're so damn hot in any clothes you wear* So beautiful! xD

Ya. Finally I'm not really going solo anymore. LOL. Maybe sometimes still solo but not that bad. At least I found friends to kpc during lunch. Introducing Adam Benjamin (Ben) from G3.

He's a mix of French & Malay. At first I thought he was those typical Malay. His mix! hahaha. He told me that pork is a damn good meat. hahaha. So ya, he speaks French and attended Lycee Francais KL school at Secondary. Sometimes he talks, I don't understand coz his accent is too damn strong. hahhaa.

Next, this guy is from my group. Jeremy. He's quite tall. Tall la. Maybe I hang grow up with Bryan thats why tall people looks average to me. hahaha. I don't know, everyone from my group says that Jeremy is too damn tall.

I even heard he plays basketball. Can't wait to duel with him one day. Just pumps me up knowing someone from my group shares the same interest like me.
Well. I guess thats all for now though. hahaha.

Can't wait for Hawaiian Nite nxt Tues!! Woooo~

Screwed?

I had my culinary assessment last... 2 weeks ago. Di Wei, Ee Laine and I got lectured from Chef Tan during the AT class for culinary coz we wore fomal. *Damn*. Wasn't worth the hits we got from chef tan as we didn't know! We just said assume. And Chef Tan replied, " Do you know whats the meaning of assume?" I said thought? NO. He said assume means> Ass-u-me. Then he kinda like insulted by the word.. But no big deal. Then he lecture and lecture and lecture for like 15 mins. Man I tell you. So guess what, wearing formal with no knife sets, along came a great news. He said he wanted to give assessment tomorrow and now he wants to teach! WTF.
No big deal. Its all about talent.
**************************************************************************************

Then tomorrow. Assessment day. I practised yesterday night cutting my mom's carrots and onions. I wanted to throw it away, my mom screwed me and asked me it's still can be put to used. She asked me to fry an egg and eat NOW. ==.
Okayy, never mind that. It was quite a success la I guess coz the day before during AT class we never had carrots, we had radish instead. Radish is softer while carrot is harder. I guess this whole thing was part of his conspiracy. (Chef Tan).
Moving on to assessment day.
We have 3mins to peel that carrot and onion. Dumb me taken the bigger one coz I thought bigger one is easier to be julliened later on. I was wrong.

Very lazy to rotate the pic. Pardon me. LOL.

Then nxt, we have to cut into *oh shit I don't know what style is this*.

Sad to say, I didn't finish the carrot in the given time-2mins. Stupid carrot.
I wish Bugs Bunny were here. xD Then Chef Tan checked thoroughly, said, you take long time but still not yet perfect. He gave me 2. Still OK.
Oh ya, he named all these assessments as a game. Ya, game. ==. So lame.
Next, haha, jullienne.Woohoo! My favourite. Getting pro already la now. At least Chef said something nice. He said GOOD. hahaha.

.

Then my fingers are turning to orange color due to too big carrot.
The next "game" is cisele. Its all in French term, so those words I'm typing doesn't mean it is pronounced that way. I learnt my lesson. xD
Its actually cutting it from an onion. Almost cried. Nola don't have. Coz the ventilation was good enough to prevent the onion's weapon.

After all those so called games, I earned myself 8/12 marks. Phew. Oklar not so bad afterall though.
That chef dude asked us to prepare a soup. A soup?! We were puzzled as hell. No clue. No guidance at all. We just taruk nasib. What comes out, gulp* come out larh!
So being a chef wannabe. I act pro. Add here add there. And boom! >>>
* i don't know whr the pics went *

Anyway, it looked presentable but taste badly. HAHAHA!
chill chill. First time kayy. More to come. xD

Phew. Thats all la for the past few week I was M.I.A. I hope ya'll enjoy those craps I have written.
Solo still in college. But not for long. xD

Resuming Life.

Sorry for the long delays that I took to update my blog. Assessments and assignments are flowing in non-stop, days after days. Phew. Well, hmmm where should I start off with?
Well, few weeks back I learned to bake Choux Chantily. (See I know how to bake something else than butter cake). What is it? It is a bread actually. Which is easier to prepare compared to butter cake I guess?

This is how it looks like before it is put into oven. Its not that I'm being greedy or what, is just that I have too much of it. Have to finish it. Don't waste. "Sek tai mou sai". xD

The best part is that we even have almond nuts as our topping. LOL. As we put into the oven, we melted some chocolates, caramelized some sugar and one more some white white thingy tasted like vanilla which is so so mesmerizing.
Jeng jeng jeng!!
The result>>> >>>

Everyone brought their containers whereas I'm still solo as usual, did not ask any but to walk out to mamak stall to get those polysterene to actually "ta pau" home for my parents. Tasted so good as heaven when the choux is still hot from oven! I ate I don't know maybe 6,7 maybe more? haha. Can't remember. Pheww..
I guess thats all for now. FYI, I did not update my blog coz my laptop was sent for service. For like 3weeks.

The next post I'm going to talk about my culinary assessment. Stay tuned. :D
Wow, Guo Zhen. Faster than I expected! Aren't you supposed to be studying now as in exams are so around you? hahaha! Can't wait for your return. *want to slap you*. hahaha!

Every Hotelliers Dream.

Okay, I admit. Dubai is awesome. No, its more than just awesome. Its iconicly every hotelliers would want to go. Undoubtedly I would want to go there as well. xD
But France is definitely a must if I had collected enough cash and a whole lot good results to pursue my degree in Universite of Toulouse.
Anyway, out of nowhere I was impressed by the architectures of Dubai. This feeling was triggered when I was in college studying Business of T & H, we were discussing about Dubai. And there, interest.
First we have the freaking awesome Palm Island of Dubai. Its so cool, you can see it from space. The capacity of workers are 2 times more than the citizens of Dubai. Yes, unbelieveably true. The Palm Islands are in Dubai already. Wonder if...

Damnit, it looked so awesome in the picture already, what happens if you see it personally? Will go like "Dayummmmm!!"

Next we have the Burj tower, which is not there in Dubai due to some delays. It will simple take over the title of the tallest building in the world after Burj al-Arab which is .. also in Dubai. (A lil bit kiasu huh, don't ya guys think? xD)

Thats the Burj tower. Aihh. All these dreams. Seems so near yet so far.

And this is my favourite of all towers- Burj al-Arab. Its the only 7 stars rated hotel in the world. Which hotelliers wouldn't wanna work there?! Geez man. Argh!!
Haha! If anyone of you'd know what the hell am I talking about the Burj al-Arab, thank you so much. Its just so indescribable.

There are actually alot more from Dubai. It is not all postponed due to some political reasons. You'll be amazed to even see their sketch and plans. So smart and kiasu. All I remember is the upcoming buildings or lands are world class. Instance like first in the world, biggest in the world and stuff like that. Everything.

I'll just show you the Dynamic tower of Dubai which is so scientific. Why is it scientific? coz it rotates. YES a tower that rotates. For example, if you wanna go to the lobby, you have to wait till it rotates only you find your way there. A bit dumb and cool at the same time though! xD Freaking futuristic!!!
